Seminar on Banking Laws and Practices
A productive, informative and practical seminar was organized on Banking Laws & practices by Miss Hafiza Safia Shaukat under the supervision of Head Department of Banking and Finance; Professor Hafiz Muhammad Imran Akram, and Head Department of Commerce; Professor Dr Siddique Malik, and Chairman EMS-PUGC; Muhammad Musarrat Nawaz Sb. After insightful lectures by different guest speakers an inspiring question and answer session was also conducted that included the prudential regulation, Operations Management, ECIB, FATF, FMU and Credit Financing.
Ms. Faiza Munaf Bajwa VP, Mr Asad Abbas AVP, Mr Raheel Jamshaid Qazi OGI , Mr Adeel Ahmad Butt OGI and Mr Attique Ur Rehman from Nation Bank of Pakistan presented all these beneficial as well as enlightening topics and answered the questions in a dedicate way.
The honorable Director General Dr. Naveed Iqbal Chaudhry were the chief guest of the day with all Heads of Departments and illuminated this wonderful seminar with their presence. Director General said that "ignorance of law is no excuse" so we have to get awareness about the banking laws and regulations which are adopted by the financial industry and this is the need of the current era. Souvenirs were presented to Director General, course instructor and Guest Speakers at the end of this session.
