It is for the first time in 124 year history of the Punjab University that it has established a teaching campus outside Lahore. Gujranwala Campus has been established with the keen interest & support of the Honourable & Worthy Vice-Chancellor. The opening of the sub-campus is in accordance with the educational policy of the present regime of President Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is taking a keen interest in promoting education. Gujranwala campus is located near Alipur Chowk, Rawalpindi By-pass. It has an area of 81 Kanals. It has 37 classrooms, 1 Administration block, fully air-conditioned and open shelves library,1 big multi-purpose hall and allied facilities i.e. Car Parking, Canteen, Book Shop, and Grassy Lawns.
