Conference Registration Process

Step 1: Abstract/Paper Submission

Who can be the audience for ICBT&SS?

ICBT&SS gives immense opportunity to academicians, practitioners, consultants, scholars, researchers and policy makers with different backgrounds and experiences, to present their novel research contributions in ICBT&SS and to discuss their experiences, new ideas, research findings, as well as any practical challenges encountered and/or the solutions adopted particular during the COVID-19 consistent with theme of conference.

Conference organizing committee highly encourages doctorate (PhD) and postgraduate students to present their research proposal, or literature review, or findings, or contemporary issues in this conference with a very special registration fee. Case studies, abstracts of research in progress, as well as full research papers will be encouraged for the conference presentation. Undergraduate students can also send their research work if they are currently engaged in any research project, or case study. Otherwise, undergraduate students can only attend a conference as a listener without presenting paper.

Listeners and Delegations from the same area of interest can also attend these conferences.

 

Abstract Submission

An abstract of study should not be more than 300 words. All submitted abstracts must be consistent with the theme of conference and will undergo a rigorous review process by conference scientific committee. The committee normally reaches its decision within a week after abstract submission. All abstracts must be submitted in English. All abstracts/proposals will be published in conference abstract book. A well-structured abstract must contain the following information;

        Describe the research problem and why it is important.

         Identify the purpose of the study

        State the theoretical foundations and/or conceptual frameworks, as appropriate.

        Summarize the key research question(s).

        Describe, concisely, the overall research design, methods, and data analysis procedures.

        Identify key results, conclusions, and recommendations that capture the heart of the research (for the final study only).

        Conclude the abstract with a statement on the implications for positive social change.

We only acknowledge the high quality original and unpublished research work. In this sense, please submit the full academic paper only if your abstract has been first officially accepted by the committee and you are FULLY registered for the conference after paying the registration fee. The preferred length of full paper, including footnotes, is 5,000 words (maximum limit). In general, please confine your paper between 10-12 pages, everything included. It must include an abstract (no more than 150 words) and 3-5 keywords. Author’s autobiographical details should appear as the first footnote of each contribution, and include the name, academic and professional qualifications, institutional affiliation, current title and position of each author. Full paper must be written in British English, typed using Times New Roman (normal style and font size 12) and in MS-Word. Page size should be A4, single column with 2.5 cm margin on both sides with single line spacing. All pages of the manuscript (including Tables and Figures) should be numbered.

Step 2: Notification of Acceptance

Generally, the committee will reach its decision within one week after the submission of abstract and we will issue an acceptance letter to the authors to register for the conference.

Step 3: Registration

Registration fee includes participation in the conference, publication of the contribution, conference attendance e-certificate, lunch/dinner during conference, badge, conference bag and/or conference accessories and coffee breaks if decided by conference organizing committee.

Once your abstract is accepted by the conference committee, you must submit a registration form before registration deadline. Confirmation of your registration will be sent by email within 2 working days of receipt. To register for the conference, please download the following registration form and e-mail the duly filled form to icbtss@pugc.edu.pk along with bank invoice as proof of payment.

If co-author(s) is also interested to participate in presenting/attending the conference, each co-author has to register individually for the conference by completing the registration form.

 

Delegate/Listener/Participant can also register him/herself with the provision of following information/documents:

·         Your Identity Proof; (as a student/employee/entrepreneur/policymaker/academician)

·         Formal request on institute/ company letterhead; or formal request through your official or individual email ID; and

·         A short statement containing (300-500 words) explaining your intend/motivation to participate this conference.

Once, you will send these documents we will issue you a ‘welcome letter’ and a ‘letter of invitation’ for official use.

Step 4: Payment Details

Applications will not be processed without receipt of the required registration fee. Please note that following bank details for the submission of registration fee. Once we will receive your registration form along with payment proof, we will email you confirmation of registration fee.

Step 5: Conference Program

Participants will be notified a detail conference program one week before the date of conference.
